Our BMS Biological Process Technology is a proprietary application of biological processes to the treatment of waste and wastewater. It consists of two key elements working in synergy with each other. Firstly, it utilises our proprietary blend of BMS micro-organisms having various degradation abilities. Secondly, the engineering design and the optimised operating conditions of our BMS biological process systemenhances the degradation environment.
(a) Our BMS micro-organisms
In an effort to mimic the natural ecosystem, our blend of BMS micro-organisms is a concoction of naturally occurring micro-organisms comprising aerobic, anaerobic, facultative and photosynthetic micro-organisms.We have selected these micro-organisms based on their degradation abilities and efficiencies, their hardiness and ability to co-exist and grow in mutual association with each other.
Our BMS micro-organisms consist of four main types of micro-organisms that digest most of the organic pollutants present in wastewater, and effectively transform and degrade them into environmentally benign substances. The four major types of micro-organisms are:
Our BMS biological process system consists of a system of three bioreactors arranged in series, namely: fermentation, degradation and digestion bioreactors. Each of these tanks is aerated using the specially designed aerator pipes with ultra-fine holes ("air-spargers") placed near the bottom of each of the tanks. These air-spargers provide a steady flow of micro-sized air bubbles into the tanks, which result in airlift circulation, thus effectively increasing the amount of dissolved oxygen required for biodegradation.
These air-spargers are specially designed for our BMS Biological Process Technology. The fermentation tank, degradation tank and digestion tank together with the specially designed air-spargers are designed to simulate the natural ecosystem within which the aerobic, anaerobic and facultativeBMS micro-organisms can co-exist.
